Description

(…)Thinking about the programme of this particular CD, I wanted to give a retrospective view of one of my favourite composers Dmitry Shostakovich. He was for us Russian musicians, a very special composer, whose work was a mirror of his time. This time was also partly my time, and his compositions not only explained the world that we lived in as everyday people but to a greater extent our inner most thoughts and feelings.
