In the year that Channel Classics turned 20, I filmed during the recording process of the Beethoven 4 and 6 symphonies in Budapest, Hungary. I asked Iván and Jared a great deal but we mostly talked about what it meant for them to record a SACD and the Beethoven symphonies. I also asked members of the orchestra what it is like to work with Iván Fischer.
