It is hard to say. Currently I love the Mahler 4th and 1st with Fischer and BFO. The playing and the sound quality is fabulous. I started to collect the Mozart Violin sonatas with Podger and Cooper months ago and I like these albums too.

I do own a lot of Channel Classics CDs; but my favorit is:

Pandolfi Meali , Violin Sonatas
MANZE, ANDREW - violin
EGARR, RICHARD - harpisichord
JACOBS, FRED - theorbo

Much more better than Manze's second recording of those marvelous sonatas in France, concerning sound quality as well as interpretation!

Very hard to say because it depends on what you are in the mood for. I have about 4 dozen Channel Classic Recordings. About two thirds are SACD's and the rest are Studio Master Downloads. Many were purchased without really knowing the music. There were no dissapointments and many surprises. I could easily say that about dozen are favorites of all the music I own. However, after some careful thought, and much handwringing, I could say that the following half dozen might be my favorites from Channel.

1) Johannette Zomer, Fred Jacobs - Caccini, Nuove Musiche [SACD]
2) Netherland Bach Society - Magnificat [SACD]
3) Florilegium - Bolivian Baroque, Vol. 1 [Studio Master]
4) Wispelwey - Wispelwey plays Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saëns & Bruch [SACD]
5) Podger - La Stravaganza [Studio Master & SACD]
6) Budapest Festival Orchestra, Iván Fischer - Schubert, Symphony No. 9, Five German Dances [SACD]
