How about Rodrigo's Cello Concerto, Concierto Como un Divertimento for Cello and Orchestra?

Would need to pick out a couple other of his Orchestra Pieces too I suppose, or combine it with another Cello conerto by a Spanish Composer.

Here is my own Ivan Fischer / Budapest Festival Orchestra wish list. It's a lot of the standard repertoire pieces:

1. Bartók - “Concerto for Orchestra, BB 123, Sz. 116”

2. Bartók - “Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta", BB 114, Sz. 106”

3. Beethoven - “Symphony No. 3 in Eb Major (‘Eroica’), Op. 55”

4. Beethoven - “Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, Op. 67”

5. Brahms - “Piano Concerto No. 1 in D Minor, Op. 15”

6. Brahms - “Symphony No. 3 in F Major, Op. 90” (This one is my biggest hope to get recorded!)

7. Holst. - “The Planets, Op. 32”

8. Mussorgsky - “Pictures at an Exhibition” (1922 Ravel Orchestration)

9. Prokofiev - “Symphony No. 5 in Bb Major, Op. 100”

We just finished recording Bruckner 7. That is enough Bruckner for me to last a while!

Some Prokofiev symphonies would be nice. I'd enjoy Fischer's take on Rachmaninov 1 and 3--- plus Isle of the Dead and Symphonic Dances.
