On May 24th 2010 the entire Frits Philips Concerthall in Eindhoven, Holland will be the venue to celebrate 20th anniversary of Channel Classic Records in style. Workshops, masterclasses, a kids concert, listeningsessions, a Channel Classics documentary and much more... a total aural and visual musical experience from afternoon till late evening.

Op 24 mei 2010 zullen alle ruimtes van Muziekcentrum Frits Philips in Eindhoven benut worden om het 20-jarig bestaan van Channel Classics Records uitbundig te vieren. Workshops, masterclasses, een kinderconcert, luistersessies, een Channel documentaire... gedurende de hele middag en avond zal overaliets te beleven, te zien en te beluisteren zijn.

2010-01-25:  Mahler 4 BBC Music Nomination

Ivan Fischer's Mahler Symphony no. 4 has been nominated a BBC Music Magazine Award for the Best Orchestra recording of 2009! Please vote on our release in the orchestral section. Don't forget to vote in all six categories, and to register your votes after the instrumental category.

 

 

2010-01-17:  Dejan tour to Japan

Dejan will be making a tour through Japan the middle of February.  He has a instore concert -cd signing arranged with the display already set up in the store a month early! 

2009-12-12:  Mahler 4 best of the year on Classics Today

Just announced on ClassicsToday.

No “best of the year” collection would be complete without a special Mahler symphony disc, and in Ivan Fischer’s Mahler 4th on Channel Classics we have one of the very greatest interpretation of that work for many a year.

2009-12-03:  BBC nomination for Mahler 4

BBC music magazine has nomintaed Mahler 4 (CCS SA 26109) for the Best Orchestra recording of 2009.
The awards ceremony will be in the spring of 2010.
